The Funk Is Fading Slowly...
102 degrees today, with Oklahoma humidity that's about 112, 115 anywhere else. My A/C took a dive last night and I start sweating at anything over 72. It was 82 at 3:00 am this morning. Em started school yesterday and she said the A/C does not work, all though the school was remodeled over the Summer and every room has a new flat screen TV and the cafeteria has 16 of them. She has a 25 minute lunch and it takes 10 to 15 minutes to get it and sit down so what the Hell is she gonna watch in 5 minutes? (she'll need 5 just to get back to class on time) People in education can make some real Dumb**s decisions. Anyway, last month my fridge died and the month before that my computer crashed and burned and I lost everything. Most of my life was on that computer (with no back up or anything saved) I lost addresses, numbers, a buttload of personal info, and about 2000 songs. And so far "VISTA" SUCKS ! I could barely fake my way through "XP" Now I have to figure out a whole new system, I'm too old for this C**P and besides, I think I'm in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, either that or I'm just a Dumb**s. Also with a new computer I finally decided to go High Speed with AT&T so now I have a new provider and a new e-mail system that half the time I can't even find becuse they wouldn't let me use the name or password I wanted so now my Blogger account and my Google account and everything else that I registered with my old e-mail and password is F**ked up and I don't have the brain power to change it all and then remember what the Hell I changed it to. Anyway, my original point was that it's been tough on someone with a fixed income, I don't know how I've stayed afloat so far but my new computer is 3 times better than my old one and my new fridge is big enough for a restaurant to use, so I guess that I'll just have to wait and see how the A/C turns out.
This Post was for AZCG, Babs, Xmichra, Shane, Wys, Hannalie, Chef, Kaliblue, Jo, and anyone else who may have been wondering about Chuck. I've been in a Funk and it's been hard to climb out of, and I'm not clear of it yet. Miss you all.
