Living On The Edge

I GOT A USED LEATHER JACKET AND AN OLD PAIR OF BOOTS WITH HOLES IN THE SOLES
AND MY 501 BLUES HAVE SEEN THE BETTER OF DAYS
NOW I DON'T HAVE A PLACE THAT'LL KEEP ME WARM AND I CAN CALL MY OWN
WHEN YOU AIN'T GOT ANY MONEY YOU CAN'T PAY NO RENT AND YOU'RE OUT

I'M GONNA BE ALL RIGHT

SO I PACK MY BAGS AND RIDE INTO THE SUNSET
I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M GONNA GO BUT THAT DON'T MATTER AT ALL

I GOT A COLLEGE DEGREE THAT MEANS NOTHING TO ME AND I AIN'T GOT A JOB
CAUSE I DON'T WANT ANYBODY TELLING ME WHAT TO DO
I GOT BAD REPUTATION AND A STORY TO MATCH SO LEAVE ME ALONE
THE WIND AT MY HEELS AND THE SOUND OF MY WHEELS KEEP ME GOING

YES I'M GONNA BE ALL RIGHT

SO I PACK MY BAGS AND RIDE INTO THE SUNSET
I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M GONNA GO BUT THAT DON'T MATTER AT ALL
I'M GONNA DO IT MY WAY AND I DON'T CHANGE FOR NO ONE
YEAH I'M LIVING ON THE EDGE AND I GOT NOTHING TO LOSE

SO I KEEP MY MOTOR RUNNING
ALL THROUGH THIS ENDLESS SUMMER NIGHT
AND THERE'S NO ONE WHO CAN TOUCH ME
IT'S ONLY ME AND MY WHEELS

*Insert Vito Bratta’s Kick Ass Rockin’ Guitar Solo Here*

SO I PACK MY BAGS AND RIDE INTO THE SUNSET
I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M GONNA GO BUT THAT DON'T MATTER AT ALL
I'M GONNA DO IT MY WAY AND I DON'T CHANGE FOR NO ONE
CAUSE I'M LIVING ON THE EDGE AND I GOT NOTHING TO LOSE

SO I PACK MY BAGS AND RIDE INTO THE SUNSET
I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M GONNA GO BUT THAT DON'T MATTER AT ALL
I'M GONNA DO IT MY WAY AND I DON'T CHANGE FOR NO ONE
CAUSE I'M LIVING ON THE EDGE AND I GOT NOTHING TO LOSE

It's all the same, only the names
will change
Everyday, it seems we're
wastin'away
Another place, where the faces are
so cold
I drive all night, just to back
home

I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I
ride.
I'm wanted dead or alive. Wanted
dead or alive.

Sometimes I sleep, sometimes it's
not for days
The people I meet always go their
separate ways
Sometimes you tell the day
By the bottle that you drink
And times when you're all alone
all you do is think

I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I
ride
I'm wanted dead or alive. Wanted
dead or alive...
Oh, I ride!

Bon Jovi

In my convertible going 90mph, driving from Jackson Hole to Phoenix through the Painted Desert wearing a bikini with Bon Jovi blasting on the stereo, smoking a joint... Now that was fun!

chuck, you freak you! You never said that to me when I was playing Metallica driving in the rain, going 5mph cause that's as fast as I could cause your wipers weren't working right and I was in your boxer shorts!!

see, there you go again, i don't take the time to cuddle and you get your knickers in a twist.

Drivin' hells bells down a country road at night, in the rain, four bottles of boones farm, two empty, two full. one hand on the wheel and one on your tit, Metallica blasting out "Whiskey in the Jar" and your hand on my nuts. That, white moon, would be a good day to die!

Raven haired, eyes so black they look like cess pools glowing in the light of the moon (to quote my ex).

As my ex would describe me...

"Raven haired, with eyes so black they glitter in the moonlight like cess pools."

Them Southern boys have a way about them don't they?
