-------------------------- "Nurishment" ------------------------
For Diane...
This is the first and only picture of a flower I ever took, Sunday 5.14.06 will be exactly two years since I took it. I was trying out a new camera. I know it's no empty toilet paper roll, but it was the best I could do on short notice. Mornin' Lady, thanks for making me smile.

I've taken pictures of flowers, bees, butterflies, cacti, babies, dogs, cats, birds, mountains, trees, cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, scooters, skate boards... but in my entire life it never occurred to me to take a picture of an empty roll of toilet paper!

Bravo Diane!

I love that the water (or dew.. can't tell) is still clinging onto the flower. To me the caption of this photo should read 'Nurishment". Very pretty.

And you are going to laugh here... SO, before Kira was born, Mark and I were lucky enough to take a tripto Cancun. While I was blown away by pretty much everything, a few things the hotel did for us really threw me. One of hose things was that they would make a cute little fan arrangement out of the top of your toilet paper on the roll! I still don't know how they did that.. but I documented the birth of the fancy shmantsy toilet paper roll. So I have a series (not on digital or I would just post them... hmm.. gotta find a scanner..) of pictures that show you the fan, the depletion of the roll (down to empty) and the reserection of the fresh new roll with a new fan.
Mark thought I was comletely insaine. But I tell ya, it made for really good fun when you have to go through a whol bunch of photos with people. :)

it's rain, my sister wanted a picture of her car to put in a sales add, so with a brand new camera, (i hadn't even put batteries in it yet) i went over to her house after work, the sun had been up for about an hour and the mist had stopped and i wanted a test photo before i shot one of her car, and the roses were next to where i parked my truck on here fence row. turned out pretty good, better than the car did.

Not a bad picture. You could put that one on a calendar.
